News from the State of Nevada!
The fourth Quarter began with a
great State meeting with a good attendance and fun was had by all.
Sheree Pendergrass won our CWC, Lauri Oakden
won our Mentor of the year. Two Coach handbags were raffled as a fund raiser.
Our own talented Pam Mackay is always
knitting and sells beautiful scarves as an LVIP fund raiser and also donated jewelry and scarves to the City Impact Center
for under privileged children to give to their moms. Kathleen Huddleston\ LVIP organized a volunteer day at Opportunity Village
for the benefit handicapped children.
We had a nice Ornament Exchange party in December, which was lots of fun.
LVIP provided Education courses in Excel giving the members more tools in their toolbox.
LVIP is planning great things
for 2012, starting with a January meeting that included Salsa Making lessons, also in the planning stages for a Car Show fund
raiser in the spring.
LVIP will be putting in their bid for the 2013 Regional Conference to held in Las Vegas,
NV. Kris Banfield MAL is working with the So. Nevada Claim Association for some co-marketing efforts. I will be spending some
time in Reno in 2012 to meet and recruit members for a potential Reno Chapter.

for throwing in her hat to run for the next RVP for Region VIII, I think she would do a great job in representing all the
members in our region.
